“Art, science and craft infused activities for curious minds.”

THE MUSIC BASH: MAKE SOME NOISE WITH YOUR BROKEN TOYS!

The Music Bash is a workshop that teaches the building of electrical circuits along with concepts in the mathematical foundations of sound. These ideas are taught in a fun, highly interactive, richly stimulating environment. In one configuration this class is aimed at younger children, however the same tools can be redeployed for more mature participants, with whom more advance concepts like electronics and programming can be explored.

ACTIVITIES:

Electronic circuit bending, modifying electronic sound toys, playing with conductive fabrics and inks. Using microprocessors and devices like the Arduino to make bizarre musical instruments and controllers. Repurposing junk to make music.
